SUPER VISA - In which form is it issued?

Hi. I have a question about a super visa, specifically, about how it looks.

I have applied for a super visa for my mom from inside Canada, then we received the confirmation letter and we crossed the border on land.(which is called flag-polling as I understand) It was last September.

At the border, the immigration officer put a stamp in her passport, with a handwritten date until September 2029 year, which is for 5 years.

And here is my question : is this(stamp only) the right(?) way of how the super visa is issued?

I mean, shouldn't be there a separate paper visa(with the yellow color background)? My immigration agent says there should be an additional PAPER visa, though everyone else we are asking says that the stamp only is enough as the super visa.

Thank you in advance to anyone who give me any idea on this.

Assume you mean you helped your mother apply for a supervisa while she was outside Canada or she never actually qualified for the supervisa which is a separate issue. No issue with the stamping in the passport.

Yes I (more exactly, our immigration lawyer) helped her apply for the super visa. And yes it was from outside Canada, sorry for confusion. She was fully(!) eligible for super visa that's why she applied for it.

With your answer : "No issue with the stamping in the passport." - Do you mean that the stamp is valid as the visa, and she does not need a separate paper visa(or sticker-type visa)?

No need for other stamping or paper.

Person applying from In-canada or outside canada will surely get status update which will mention visa category and validity. It is generally sent in gc key portal. this document is formal document ( you can say ) .Its same like students get PSWP while living in canada and they dont get stamped visa . PGWP applicant will get a paper-visa ( legal status document )

They are asking about entry stamping/paper record. All electronic these days. The date mentioned is the length of possible visit of the parent if they remain in Canada and are able to secure supervisa insurance annually and purchases a policy annually.
