Question regarding Level of Education

Here is a bit of an explanation about my course and why I am confused: I completed a 16-month course for internationally trained teachers at Queen's University back in 2022. It's meant for candidates with a B.Ed. so that they can apply for an OCT (teaching license) afterward. But in my case, it’s a bit different. I got in due to having prior teaching experience from back home and a letter of good standing, so I do not meet the requirement for OCT unless I take a few more extra courses. Also, I am not trying to meet their requirement either as I do not plan to return to teaching here as my supply teaching experience in Canada wasn’t as pleasant. I would much prefer to stay in my current profession and grow.

So now my question is, based on my education history, what should be the level of education for this Postgraduate certificate that I got from Queen’s? What I choose affects my overall CRS score, and I also want to choose it correctly. Thanks all.

Certificate from Queen's
ECA from back home

Not clicking on your links but if you have degree equivalency and one year post secondary at Queen’s then degree is highest with post secondary. Count two or more.

Thanks for your quick reply, but that wasn't my question. When you add a degree to your education history, you need to pick its level from a list of options, and options are the following:
  1. None, or less than secondary (high school)
  2. Secondary diploma (high school graduation)
  3. One-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
  4. Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
  5. Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
  6. Master's degree or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession
  7. Doctoral-level university degree (PhD)
That is why I provided those links to help you better understand what I am trying to say. I blacked out all my information, so it should be fine. For now, I have selected option 4 for that specific course, but it doesn't make sense to me. It's part of professional studies and gave me a post-graduate certificate, so I think it should be option 6. That's what I am confused about.

I will try to explain so in my Education history, I have two records -
  1. My bachelor's from back home after ECA got the 4-year Canadian equivalent, so I chose option 5 for this one. [NO CONFUSION HERE]
  2. I am confused about my post-graduate certificate. Looking at option 4 it seems like it's for vocational certificates or people who go for trades after high school. Option 5 is for a Bachelor's OR 3+ year program, which it is not because it is a higher level qualification than a bachelor's degree but not a master's either.

Your postgraduate certificate from Queen’s would likely be assessed as a one-year post-secondary credential for CRS purposes. If you have an ECA for your degree from back home, compare how it affects your score. The best option depends on which gives you the highest points. Check with WES or another credential assessment body to confirm how they evaluate your Queen’s certificate.
