Refugee Travel Document - Questions and Answers

I have a couple of questions regarding the Refugee Travel Document (RTD) application:
1. Guarantor’s Statement on Photo: The photographer’s statement (“I certify this to be a true likeness of [Your Name]”) has been stamped on the back of my photo. Would it be okay for the guarantor to just sign the photo, or does the guarantor’s statement specifically have to be handwritten?
2. Parent(s) Surname at Birth: For the question asking about “Parent(s) surname at birth,” is it enough to list only my mother’s surname, or do I need to include both my father’s and mother’s surnames at birth? Also, should I clarify which surname belongs to which parent?
3. ID for RTD Application: The application mentions that I need at least one piece of identification. Would an Ontario driver’s license be acceptable as proof of identity, or is something else preferred?

The photo's stamp in the back has already this text, with a space to be signed under it.
2. Parent(s) Surname at Birth: For the question asking about “Parent(s) surname at birth,” is it enough to list only my mother’s surname, or do I need to include both my father’s and mother’s surnames at birth? Also, should I clarify which surname belongs to which parent?
You choose just one parent, it doesn't matter which one.
3. ID for RTD Application: The application mentions that I need at least one piece of identification. Would an Ontario driver’s license be acceptable as proof of identity, or is something else preferred?
Any gvt ID is accepted. (with photo, address and signature)

Or has anyone actually waited two weeks for their application to start processing? I have urgent reasons and I sent the webform as well and they responded with the same thing.

They received my application on February 7th but the referenece number is not in the system yet.
Did you get your travel document yet?

Oh ok. No worries. So when they received it they said call us after 10 business days. Because it takes 10 business days to update on the system. For me I called them earlier and it was updated. But don’t worry. Wait 2 weeks and give them a call. You will be fine.Sorry March 20th 2025

I am just scared because my friend applied before me and for her it is been more than three weeks now and they haven’t updated her application in the system yet.
That’s what I said when I talked with them but they said you have to wait two weeks so it can update in the system and than we can marked it as urgent.Call them again and explain that it’s urgent and I need to know the status.
Hello, I am suppose to send the previous RTD when applying new one but there is no option to indicate that I want my previous one back as I have visas in there. How can I apply to get it back? Also, there is only two lines to add visited countries since entry to Canada and not able to add additional lines. How can I indicate there is more that two?

I copy pasted the tracking number on google and it says its USPS tracking number? is that normal?
