The time between receiving the Pre-Arrival Letter and getting the PPR can vary significantly.
Our lawyer informed us when we received the pre-arrival letter that it takes between 3 to 9 months to receive the Passport Request (PPR). We've been waiting for more than 9 months now, having received the letter in mid-February, without any updates from IRCC.

I've seen others in this forum receive their PPR in less than a month, while some have been waiting for over a year. Hoping everyone gets their PPR soon!

Hi,

Congratulations on passing all the required checks! As for when you can expect your PPR, it's difficult to provide an exact timeline. However, if all other applicants in your group have also passed their checks, it's possible that you might receive your PPR within a few days.

Please keep in mind that processing times can vary significantly, and it's not uncommon for applicants who submitted in the same year to receive their PPR at different times. Some applicants who submitted in 2021 might still be waiting, while others who applied in 2022, 2023, or even 2024 might have already received theirs.

Congrats !!! If you're a single applicant, I think you will get the golden email very shortly. However, in case you have dependants with you (such as a spouse or children) or another co-founder in the team, you have to check whether they get passed or not, especially the Security. Once Congrats and good luck!

I saw some people get 2 PAL and security is not started yet.

yes I have two more co-founders, will update their results once they get their GCMS

FYI., My GCMS note did show details of my spouse and the kids too, basically for every stages eg. Security, Health, Background, etc... In this case, i think you need to wait your co-founders GCMS notes result.

My situation is exactly the same as yours, and we received the first PAL letter on October 11 and the second letter on December 3. Regarding the first letter, I am sure that the first PAL letter will be sent after eligibility, and I cannot comment on the second PAL letter exactly. It is very important to remember that everyone should receive these two PAL letters, and it seems that this letter is issued to all members of the group after the security of the last person who is approved.

Therefore, the dates of the notes and letters sent should be like this: the first PAL letter after eligibility approval with a maximum interval of 24 hours, and the second PAL letter is a reminder PAL letter that is issued to everyone after the last person is approved. Of course, it is important that to confirm this theory, all members of the group should receive the officer note.
