Outland spousal visa application submitted April 2024

Hi,
We have received AOR on 29/4/2024 and completed biometrics and medicals as well and the same was updated, Also received sponsor eligibility letter as well. But after I have passed the medicals their is no update till now its only showing that" your application is in progress". As medicals are only valid till 1 year and mine will expire on 27/6/25. Do I have to give medical test again if no update comes? And Can someone please guide me why its getting so late to receive PPR?

The background check might still be running. I would suggest you follow this link and create the account for PR tracker: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login This way you can see in more details if your background is still in progress.

You will also be able to see if your medical is completed.

Its showing that my medicals were succesfully completed on 30-6-24. But yes for background check its saying we are processing your backgroung check and will send you a message of we need more information .

I think you refer to the gckey, Did you try the link I sent? they are different, unless you have already checked both

Mine is also in New Delhi, It's the slowest visa office, Expect the delay, We submitted the file on 21st Feb 2024, Still waiting. The file is under background check.
They'll send you a request if they need a new medical.
