Hi everyone! Just wondering if someone has an idea with my concern. Currently a closed work permit holder and is considering living in a van full time. Would this be an issue for me in my future Permanent residency application or would it be fine for me to push through with my plan? Thank you!

Would you have an address for IRCC to send you correspondence?

What is the location of your closed work permit? Are you living in the city as a resident and can prove you have an address.

Yes, I would have an address that I can indicate in the application.

As long as the address is for the location on your LMIA/closed work permit.

You must actually be living at the address to use it. If renting a PO Box you can use that but would also include a letter of explanation on any future IRCC documents. This is new territory for IRCC and other government agencies
