Have you had any update? The rules changed on January 2025 and now you need to submit it through VFS who then sends your application to IRCC Mexico, finally to the Fiscalia.

hello. No no updates yet we passed the two months mark and still waiting.
Yes,we sent our paperwork in before they made the anouncement in January, about two weeks before.so we had already sent everything into Canada Embassy.
hoping to get some type of update soon.

how about you ?

My due date is coming soon, April 3rd, and still no word from Canadian Embassy.
I sent a couple web forms asking for AOR and submitted the latest on my tracking number from VFS where it shows that IRCC Mexico (Canada Embassy) has now my application.
I'm also about to send an email to the Embassy in the hopes to get some more info on this.
Quick question: are we supposed to also translate the PCC? Cause from what I've read in other forums, the applicant never receives the PCC, everything falls between FGR and IRCC, but the PCC will most likely be issued in Spanish, so not sure if we are supposed to do something about it.

Hi, we sent his request to VAC in March 7 and they didn't give us any receipt, no tracking ID. Our lawyer doesn't set us up with the tracker, so there's no way we can see the status our application.
Could you show us your timeline? Or if you are OK, we can talk in the WhatsApp.
Thank you!

My timeline is as follows:

Sent two PCC application packages (main applicant + spouse) to VFS/VAC through Fedex February 5th (with delivering notification)
Documents were delivered to VFS/VAC February 11th
Spouse PCC application package was processed within 3 days and got sent to IRCC Mexico / Embassy on February 13th.
Main applicant PCC application package was delayed internally in VFS/VAC, finally sent to IRCC Mexico March 10th. I sent emails and called multiple times and requested my case to be reviewed, it got escalated and they gave me a number (this took about 2 weeks), I followed up with emails for one more week and finally got confirmation that they received my PCC application.
Once VFS/VAC process your application, they send you a tracker where you can review latest status.
Spouse tracker shows package sent to IRCC since February 13th, no update so far.
Main applicant tracker shows package sent to IRCC since March 13th, no update so far.
Sent a web form March 17th providing confirmation from VFS/VAC upon package delivery and the latest status of the tracker showing PCC application package within IRCC jurisdiction.
Also sent an email to MXICO-IM-RAU@international.gc.ca asking for any confirmation that my PCC application has been received by IRCC Mexico / Embassy.

You should try calling the VFS/VAC call center, you only need your name and date of birth and they should be able to give you an update, or send them an email asking the same:

nope , no need to translate, Canada embassy Mexico handles the rest once they get the Mexico PCC ,you already did your part by sending in all documents they need to process the PCC.
