I have a PR card, and left Canada in November 2022 to Pakistan. Ever since I have been living in Pakistan. I was issued brand new PR card in November 2022 valid for 1 year during COVID-19.
I was issued new PR card before leaving Canada.
Now I want to return back to Canada for renew the PR card. Because I have been staying in Pakistan from 2022 November to UpTo now in 2025 due tomy ill very old mother to take care off. I asked my case worker I have 3-5 years to return back to Canada.
What is process beside PR TD?
How much time I can stay before returning?

They only offered PR card during COVID-19 for 1 year so I could leave country. But now it is expired.
Apply for PR TD I believe.

Yes, you need to apply for a PRTD or alternatively fly to the US and then re-enter Canada through a land border.

Why didn't you sponsor them to come here for immigration via the PGP program? Or come here as visitors under super visa?

Btw, this winter in Vancouver area was not harsh at all.
