I had been using the September thread but since my September application was returned, I might as well switch to using the October thread since the official Application Submitted date for my corrected application is Oct 31.

Still waiting on the biometrics to be completed. Has been almost a month since our biometrics appointment.

Sent in a webform message last week asking about our biometrics. It still does not say complete, over a month after the appointment. No reply.

What a bunch of dopes. They replied back asking for a LOE containing a whole bunch of useless information.

Uhh.. what? What do you mean mailing method? PR applications are done online.

I didn't expect to have to write a damn essay to get an update. WTF

I just sent in the LOE they asked for. Of course its not any info they didnt already have, especially considering applications arent done by mail anymore. I'm also going to make a GCMS Notes request. It's $30 and maybe it will explain whats going on.

I think that's a standard template to "try to match your missing application".
Most of those are related to when application packages were submitted physically.
So as to track lost packages.

If you apply online, then most of the info are N/A for you.

GCMS note is supposed to be $5.

IRCC replied to webform query. They said they did receive biometrics. Hooray.

PPR received this morning.

GCKey says "Final decision - March 6, 2025:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

Whats funny is in the status list it says Biometrics were completed Nov 3, 2024. Funny because thats over two months before we actually submitted them. Whatever! PR Tracker has no updates though, still says biometrics and background check are in progress. Again, whatever.

COPR document number and travel document number added to PR tracker website.

Today the application status got updated to: A final decision has been made. Please see the final decision below.

And then under Final decision it says: March 6, 2025 Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details.

Of course, there is no message beyond the PPR we received on March 7. But I guess they just took their time to update the status. Hopefully the updating of the application status means they're actively working on the COPR document.
