One Parent PR got rejected due to missing medical of another parent

We applied for my mother PR. As my father don’t have passport. So we write explanation of letter about no medical provided for our father. We got reject after 2 years. My father finally decided to apply for passport. Do you thing if we appeal and submit medical with Appeal. It will work for us

Get a lawyer but father has had 2 years to get passport and do the medical. IRCC gave them lots of time. Cannot appeal for something he did not provide willingly.

It's difficult to guess if your appeal has any chance of succeeding. It was mandatory for your father to complete the medical for your mother's application to be approved. I would recommend working with a lawyer if you want to try to appeal. Your application was correctly refused by IRCC. Normally appeals are to argue that IRCC made an incorrect decision in an application. However there was no error by IRCC here. Good luck.

You got extremely lucky. There is no exact timeline. Would just be very happy you get a 2nd chance.
