OWP to study permit, worked while on maintained status

I m seeking your guidance, please help if any idea.

I previously held an open work permit, which expired on 11 of January 2025. Before its expiration, I submitted an application for a study permit. However, due to a misunderstanding of the regulations, I continued working after my work permit had expired. As soon as I received the decision on my study permit application on 23rd of January 2025, I immediately stopped working.

I am now concerned about any potential consequences this may have on my future immigration applications, such as applying for a new work permit or permanent residence. I would appreciate your advice on how to proceed, including whether I should proactively disclose this to IRCC and what steps I can take to mitigate any negative impact.

Well if you hide it and IRCC asks for if you have ever worked or stayed illegally then that would be misrepresentation. What is your status now if work permit expired?
