Has anyone applied for startup visa program as an essential person?

I have a job and live in US now, but if I go with startup visa option as an essential person, do I have to fully relocate to Canada?

Is there any chance I can travel to Canada once a month (but still live in US) and work on the business until the PR approval?

You can. Actually you can run and grow your business from US while making short-term visit to Canada. But recent changes made this start up program complicated and unattractive from so many point of views.

Could you elaborate more on what "recent changes" mean?
As far as I know, recent changes include open work permit, which should have made the SUV program more attractive?
