I was in a similar situation. I traveled to the U.S. and came back on TRV as a visitor. As I traveled outside Canada, I lost my maintained status and hence stopped working now. Still waiting for approval for my work permit application.

I travelled to the U.S., however lost my maintained status after coming back using TRV. Now awaiting reply for closed work permit.

High-Wage LMIA already approved. WP in progress. Even we submitted the WP application, I have one doubt that whether our application be extension (or change in conditions - open to close) application OR it will be new application for the principal applicant?
