What is your status in the GCMS notes for security? Is it Received by CBSA, or is it in Progress with CBSA?

It's showing in GCMS notes under "Admissibilities".

I applied in March 21, 2023. My Comprehensive Security started in April 30,2024. I don’t have any military background or govt jobs at the back country.

I have been waiting for final decision after PAL which I received on March 13, 2024.

In some cases they are not referring file to CSIS too. Only CBSA is handling it. These days, they are putting everyone to comprehensive screening.

To my experience, and when I researched it saying that the file first goes to CBSA in the status showing “Received by CBSA” in GCMS notes then CBSA send it to CSIS, when CSIS done /still in progress went to CBSA again then the status change to “In progress by CBSA”. Your GCMS notes showing...

I am understanding that there should be some updates on the tracker. But i don’t know why the agent told me that it has done by CBSA. I asked him the same question twice to confirm it. He said it’s completed by CBSA.

I got a ghost update on March 07 on the tracker, then phoned IRCC. The agent told me that the CBSA did security. After that, I haven't seen any updates.

"Received by CBSA": Initially, if CBSA receives your file, the status will be "Received by CBSA." This means CBSA has your file and is waiting to process it. After CBSA Receives the CSIS Report: Once CBSA receives the CSIS report (or any findings), the status may move to "In Progress by CBSA"...
