our file was returned because we submitted copy of our birth certificate without notorizing. They asked us to submit again and submit a translation of the birth cert as notorized as well. Dont take chances , its like Rs.100 each max.. Trust me you do not want to take any risk.

MM345 is right. We submitted photocopy of Urdu nikah nama as well. it didn't say original or duplicate. We got it attested, notorized and got the english translation attested and notorized too. MM345 I can't remember reading anywhere that "original" nikah nama was required just to prove...

Do you realize you almost got me killed. :( I checked just now for Pakistan it still says 12 months for apps submitted after Dec 7, 2016.

honestly its impossible to guess. If you have submitted everything from your end and if they do not require anything further, then they shouldn't have any reason to refuse. Be positive
