For WES qualification, work experience is not necessary. My wife was also an ACCA affiliate when she went for the WES assessment. WES assessed it 4 years Canadian bachelors degree.

Yes, Fixed Deposit Certificates can be used as POF. Just get a latest statement of the FDs from the bank, scan it and upload in your PR form. Usually, the statements include the opening date. You need to only include assets equivalent to the amount required.

Hi CEC-lolo, I don't think what you have heard is correct. I have become a CPA member through the ACCA-CGA MoU. However, the MoU has expired recently as such you can't take that route any more. Please google ACCA-CGA MoU for further details. Thanks!

Seriously, everyone has a CPA there? That's how cheap Canadian degrees are? In that case, I am extremely proud to be an British Chartered Certified Accountant because only the deserving ones can get this degree. Could I possibly ask what is your degree? It's gotta be a very unique one, after all...
