Yea, that's we figured. At least there is some movement. We spoke with an agent on the phone and he confirmed that it's best to use the new form as well. Hope this post helps this who may be in a similar situation.

I'd definitely reach out to your MP about that. Most MP offices have a person who works on immigration issues. You'll need the name of the applicant, the application or UCI # and some details similar to what you included here. Ask very specific questions to the MP and hope they are able to give...

Same situation here. Aug 6th applicant. Moved from Cpc-M to Ottawa a month ago. PA is in Canada on tourist visa. No updates at all since then.

Looks like mine switched back to "In Process" at some point over the last few days. So that's good news there is some progress. Hope you have some movement as well!

I was also moved to Ottawa a few weeks ago. I've been waiting since August 2019 (22months). Let's hope this means we're both getting close to the end.

I recently had it changed from "In Process" to "Application received" on ECAS. My app just got switched to CPC Ottawa...so I'm guessing it's related to that.

Oh. Well hopefully it just means that they're at the end of the review and it's just standard procedure. It does make me nervous though.
