It's a temporary resident SIN that starts with 9. As a PR now i need a new one anyway. Do you know if I can apply for a new SIN with PRTD?

Hello, I am returning to Canada in February with a PRTD because i lost my PR card. My SIN is also expired and apparently i need my PR card to update my SIN. Can i start working while i wait to receive my new PR card. Or does anyone know if i can use my PRTD to update my SIN

Yes, at least three. The first was medical passed. Not sure what the second one was for. The third was was when my Biometrics changed to completed and and my review of additional documents changed to Not applicable.
