Yes, just submitted passport to vfs with a cover letter

Add a cover letter explaining your situation and also mention in that that you have raised webform with IRCC for this. Take this and expired letter to VFS

My parents had applied for their visit visa and also got biometrics done. Today when I logged into their account (IRCC visit visa portal), I cannot see any submitted application as if there was no activity in the account though on Sunday I checked and it had all details, including letter...

Thankyou so much for shaing these details, its really helpful!! Just one more question, in the cover letter I plan to mention that I didn't receive email and I also checked my account late and I will apologize and ask them for extension. Would that be a good enough reason from your experience?

Check latest updates on VFS website, but last time I checked, you can send it via courier only
