Everyone, I got my COPR on March 07, today I got a GCKEY status update stating my PR card was mailed (it might take up to 6 weeks for it to arrive). I believe it should arrive during 1st week of April, I will update you when I have my card at hand.

Used to take 3 days tops… when it’s our turn, it flips to 30 days to just get photo and address accepted, it’s ridiculous…

How are March COPR people doing with PR card issuance? Did you get any confirmation? I’m reaching 14 days from my COPR and still no updates on PR card.

Does anyone have experience with this specific situation? I filed my taxes this Monday, is it ok if I update my SIN now? I assume so, but wanted to double check with someone who knows best.

Jesus Christ, not a single ECOPR posted here today. What the hell is IRCC doing, ffs, this is getting ridiculous.

For those of you waiting for PR during tax season, I suggest you file your taxes before getting it, so you don’t have to worry about changing your SIN in a hurry. I’ll file mine this weekend.

I used to think that, but then I saw some people here well into their second year of wait with PNP stream, and I was like… yeah, I guess it is “sort of” express.

There will be layoffs in March, so wait times will probably spike to over 3 months after P2 date, unfortunately (this is my speculation, so take it with a grain of salt). They will most likely prioritize issuances by AOR dates, but I believe time from P2 to COPR can range anywhere from 3 to 5...

Should be any moment now, I believe in 15 days the latest, but I have seen at least 10 people with a similar P2 date get their eCOPRs in the past 7 days or so, so most likely very soon.

No, he didn’t even need to reply to P1 again, he just likes wasting time. P1 and P2 on Feb, plus IRCC March layoffs, most people can expect COPR late May with this timeline

Same, this brought me some hope to receive it today…

Don’t try and find a trend, wait time was around 15 days in September and skyrocketed afterwards.
