Still waiting for my parents visitor visa. Applied Aug 2023, Bio Sep 20th. No movement even eligibility has not started. My mom was a member of parliment for 3 years and now I'm wondering if that's the reason the processing is taking this long. But eligibilty not started yet? Not sure if they...

Once she gets her new passport, send a copy to IRCC via Webform. That's what my mom did and they updated her file.

My parents visitor visa submitted Aug 2023. Bio submitted Sep 20 after that radio silence. Processing time for Turkiye is 101 days. I'm hoping they start processing the application soon as eligibilty has not even started.

It's only updated on the tracker. Mine was updated 9 days after I took the test.

This is what they state on the wesite : "We’ll invite most applicants to a video oath ceremony (virtual citizenship ceremony). Some applicants may be invited to an in-person ceremony"...
