Okay thank you! I will mention that he is outside Canada, which does not make him inadmissible as he left the country voluntarily and his overstay was result of poor judgement.

The processing for Cec is around 5-6 months right, do you know if his overstay and him doing medical in Canada would have any issues. He can do it from his home country as well

I called them and they said they are open tomorrow. My medical exam was done 5 years back and his as well. So I don’t qualify under the public policy that provides an exemption.

We were hoping to do it together tomorrow. He is physically healthy. Maybe I will wait until ircc send the request so he can get it done from him home country. We were just hoping to get everything done with his Police clearance only remaining.
