So, technically you CAN leave and re-enter Canada during the Inland process, but it is considered risky because if he were denied re-entry for any reason, your application would be void. Now, if he has a TRV and a work permit it's unlikely he'd be denied re-entry, but the risk is still there...

Finally received my medical request today!

Speak of the devil....we just got ours in the mail today! CSQ dated Nov. 8, received December 24th.

If anyone approved in November gets their CSQ in the mail post-strike, please share here! Still haven't gotten ours that was approved a week before the strike and got caught in the mail.

I think this will hopefully be true very soon once they make more progress through the backlog due to the new CSQ quotas, but it seems that right now there's still quite the backlog, as I've seen folks posting about getting these messages about the quotas from IRCC relatively recently in a FB...

It's true that it's technically in the IRCC's hands, but Quebec is still to blame for this lack of progress. The IRCC will stop processing files due to Quebec's annual sponsorship quotas. There are many cases where people's files have been marked as fully completed for months, or they're stuck...

I just got an update in my tracker account saying my Eligibility was completed yesterday - finally some movement!

I've also noticed that the webpage that says what date of applications they're on has been stuck on August 26th since the start of November. I think it's totally possible there's a general delay, but I'll see if I can get any more info over the phone tomorrow!
