Assuming OP is in Ontario; it Doesn’t matter. You can get an OHIP with AIP. . Better still they can get OHIP one year extension from the OHIP they got on PGWP before that expires with the AIP they get from PR application then after renew their OWP to get maintained status.

if you read the thread you’d see a lot of us are in the same boat. I’m July 9th and I do not have Medical request yet too and security not started. I’ve always lived in Canada but on TR It has nothing to do with whether they are in the military.
