Applying for EE while WP is in process will cause your WP app to most likely be denied. It shows dual intent. Do one or the other. You can always apply for EE from Canada after receiving the WP.

For Medical Exams - should work permit application be IMM type: EDE or Non-EDE?

Many applicants who marked their applications as Global Skills Strategy are waiting on feedback. Lawyers have advised that it is taking longer than 2 weeks but shorter than regular processing times. I have applied for the same and am waiting almost 10 weeks now.
