Embassy is taking long time to process applications?

Hi Friends, I have applied online for TRV on 3/05/2019, as i am going on my cousin's daughter 16years celebration party which is on 1/06/2019, Unfortunately i have't received any response from Embassy. Is there any chance if they will approve TRV even after event which i have applied for? Thanks
