This is actually not true. It worked for me only because I have a Canadian visitor visa stamped on my passport. Being a US Green card holder, I needed an ETA to travel, which was rejected by CBSA.

I got my medical request right before Covid hit. I have my Biometrics and Medical did since March, nothing since then.

It's under the main page "Details about your application". I got the request on March 4th and I uploaded the documents on March 5th.

As an update to your post, my status changed to "Documents are being reviewed" 2 days ago. I guess it's all random, 20 business days timeline isn't the case for everyone.
