Nov 3 applicant, just got a ghost update. my MR was exactly this day last year (Dec. 18, 2017) Is there any significance about this ghost update, or they are just considering ask me to ME again?

I had the same issue. I now have two lines of acknowledging received my application after that waiting for over 6 months now. PR did not come as of now. 24 months and 3 days.

In my previous phone calls I asked the same question, they refused to answer who or what institutes are doing the check. They also refuse to answer how long it takes. I mean, they must have some statistics on the cases with extra background/criminal check, the minimum, maximum, average...

from that news "Over the past few years, IRCC has made significant progress in reducing processing times... " processing time from 14 months to 16 months, then 18, and now 19, they call it "significant reducing"!

Why is this April 2017 guy posting here? Not only here Oct-Nov-Dec-2016 thread but also posted on Jul-Aug-Sep-2016 thread. You don't have to show off the entire email and how smooth your application takes less than average processing time. There are specific discussion pages for your timeline...

that just makes the point of how rediculous this provincial nominee program is, with the same requirement, just because we chosed the wrong method, we end up wasting our lives waiting for this bullcrap and ruin other life plans.

Is that just a sincere optimistic hope or it's your speculation based upon some inside news?

Please stop asking “timeline please, timeline please” whenever someone posts any updates. People on this forum usually already posted before, just click on their usernames and you can see previous posts, and their timeline, which were already asked many times in the past

it's normal, I passed MR more than 6 months ago and still no golden letter, and I've seen people passed earlier than me still hanging in there
