My mom got PPR Jan21, 2025. We sent it to VFS in Chennai last week no tracking number yet.

You are lucky. When I contacted my local MP office they just came back saying "your application is in regular processing time." Its been 22 months since I submitted :(

I have also been waiting with no response from Ottawa office for a while now. So I decided to get help through my MP office and they came back stating that my mother's application will take "27 months" to process. Background check is in progress. My mom was govt teacher. May be because of that...

Nope. I have called IRCC to confirm they have it. Nothing shows online as well. Now my mom has gone back to India, so probably that PCC is not valid anymore. Frustrated!

I did not even have birth certificate and no aadhar or voter id etc. I only submitted old indian passport for proof of relationship. After submitting that I received Sponsorship approval.
