Hi @legalfalcon , wanted to know the process of refund while withdrawing the application. Had applied from the US using a US credit card which is no more in use. Have moved back to India. How will I receive the refund for the application?

Our timelines are almost similar except no medical extension yet on my account.

Applications are getting delayed regardless. All the same, any change in contact details ought to be reported to IRCC.

I guess it's nothing to worry about. I have come to realize that tech is not their strong suit. And their email is not particularly reassuring tbh :(

This looks like an update for Eligibility - Recommended Pass. Is this the latest update? For eligibility to be fully passed, it'd need an Officer review.

Unfortunately, nobody can answer that for sure now. On the bright side, medical extension is probably the last leg of the application so next step should be PPR whenever that happens!

The general view is that they'd follow LIFO rather than FIFO in processing applications and given their concerted focus on CEC of late, it might well be the case.

If you're inland, hopefully it'd be soon. However, if your case is outland, then there isn't much hope or clarity yet.

Hey, so you've received the final email from Ottawa of Etobicoke (asking since Ottawa has hardly approved any outland files of late)? Have the same COR and nationality with primary VO Ottawa and secondary Sydney, NS and have had no movement in file since May 2020 except medical expiry last month.
