Its sad to see how Canada has broken during Trudeau's reign. Its true there is no justification for this level of inefficiency. As a person who applied with you, I am myself thinking of moving from Canada given the broken state of affairs of the country.

mine showed up in 6 days GU1 was Dec 16 then GU2 was Jan 5 and finally the tracker showed BG verification complete on Jan 10 However the date was Jan 6 on the online account.

Okie folks, finally Background Verification is complete but it says Jan 6 and the online account says that the account was updated on Jan 10, 2023! What will be the next step?

Hello Folks, I received a second Ghost Update on January 7, 2023. Also on the ECAS Paper Tracker, on clicking "In Process", it shows that they started processing the application on January 5, 2023. The previous Ghost Update was on December 16, 2022.

Wow looks like Dec 16 was the date when the IRCC did the batch update. Same here got the ghost update and I don't see any further updates coming before Jan 4, 2023. Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year folks !

I think I know the issue. If you saved the username and password on chrome and are trying to log in, please make sure that you enter the ID and password once more from the drop down list. Or else manually enter it. Its a small glitch but will work for you. Otherwise it will keep on pushing you...
