do you have proof of relationship or lived together for 12 months? I'm common law and had to get letters from friends and family and proof of relationship. Don't wait too long as it is taking forever to get PR now

Trust me I know how frustrating this process is and I have looked into every avenue for this also. I am waiting for a PGWP ext and it is now more than 6 months over due. Why are you not ready for sponsorship yet?

Yes you can apply for an extension. Unless you can get a closed work permit then you can try. But most employers don't take out permits for you. I've looked into this a lot and get frustrated with the stupid rules that make no sense.

Sadly no, being with a Canadian citizen doesn't allow you to apply for an Owp. You can only do this via sponsorship. Very backward as if your spouse was on a temp permit you'd get OWP

My MP has been following up every 3 weeks. I understand the need to help people but not at the expense of others. My spouse is a Canadian citizen and I am unable to get a work permit via him. Lucky I went to school here... it's really unprofessional how they operate. Thanks for well wishes

I have the same issue, but I cannot even view the upload document link, I have an error there as well. Received it on Friday 22nd October. I also sent a web form but that is taking 3 weeks to view.

I got no AOR, got email for medical but SA came in the mail (not email) dated 2 weeks prior to when I got my medical request. Also no AOR 2 and nothing updated in Ecas. Medical was received and updated in GCKey

I recieved SA by snail mail dated the same day as my medical request. Yayyy

January 19th for me and only a temporary file number. My friend got his AOR who applied 2 weeks after me, hopefully soon
