Thats good to know. My biggest concern is my Daughters passport. That will expire end of this month. So landing has to happen before that. Do you think we can escalate the case by talking to the agent ?

I submitted around the same time and got my passports back two weeks ago. I got the COPR but its expiring this month. No landing instructions. Dont know whats their plan. But I guess at this moment its all a wait and watch game. I think you will also receive your passport shortly.

Well I was in the same boat until two weeks back. Submitted around the same time. They returned our PP two weeks back. That too only after I managed to get MPs office follow up. I dont think you need to be so stressed if you are dont need your PP for something else urgently.

I dont think you need to worry yet. For some reason Medical was requested quickly for those who applied in the first quarter of 2019. But most of us didnt get the PPR yet. Time line is 15-18 months for the full process. So i would only start worrying in next July if they havent requested a medical.

I have the same time line. For me its showing Background check in process. Do let me know if you get any update. Are you handling your application yourself or through a lawyer. Just wondering how you managed to get more details by calling them.

Its often the issue with the name. Check your application details and see if the name is entered in to second name or given name. Try different combinations. Its not an intelligent system you need to enter as it is. In my case I entered it properly after many attempts.

Hope you have kept your application details with the mail. Otherwise i am afriad they wont be able to identify which application it is. Name: Application no: UCI No: Passport Number: Date of birth: The above details are good to have in the mail

Sorry to hear this :(:( I would say order GCMS notes and not leave it. I have a feeling that the purpose of travel is what matters most. In any case its good to know what the actual concern they have. It will be good to know for future purpose at least

@Bryanna Any idea how much time for a passport tranmission in UAE? My passport is so important that I cannot work without that. VFS said 7 days so I submitted. No response whats so ever so far. Online status still says Reviewing Eligibility o_O

Ok Sounds so similar to my situation , i even cancelled my vacation due to this. Lets hope it will be meaningful at the end and your husband will get the TRV. :) After all we had similar refusal reasons. And the documents are also some what similar

Really I do understand your feeling completely. Until the PPR came everyday this was the main thought. :rolleyes: Is it that important to go to Canada for your husband ? If so its gonna only end when you receive the PPR. If not then you should relax a bit.

Travel history was given as a reason, this was due to only attaching my.latest passport. Old cancelled passports were full of travel. So i attached a travel history explanation as well.

Yes added a lot of additional documents, land title in India, savings account in India, Investment in India. Lease document in resident country, vehicle registration, employment contract etc Also invitation letter
