He can apply for owp restoration, that would not be a problem. If u check other posts u will be able that some owp holder got it already.

Hi, Your Observation is respectfully Wrong on your statement, i never been denied a visa in fact i got 10 years visa and i was there recently in April, never ever have applied for WP this is going to be first time. Best regards.

Thank you for your quick response, Question, i got a friend who is currently out of status in canada since over stayed his visa, he asked me to ask you, if he marry a temporary resident or citizen , can him get his status back? to get become legal again.
