The US border crossing is an option but not always practical because it requires crossing on foot or in a private car. Not by public transportation. Anyway. I just received update on my gckey that pr card has been mailed out. Thankful. 21 March landed yvr. 11 May card mailed.

This thread is for those who landed physically at the ports not virtual landing. The other threads are full of inland applicants with virtual landing time lines that are irrelevant to those who physically landed at airports.

Actually... come to think of it, that is a good idea. Instead of spending money on lease when I'm not gonna be staying there physically, I could buy a townhouse and rent it out. The rental would cover the mortgage while I lock in the purchase price earlier to avoid further price hikes...
