The journey is over, my wife received her citizenship certificate today, together with her passport. Good luck to those who are still waiting.

Without a proof of travel I'm afraid that your request might not get very far mate :-/ You can also calll your MP directly, you will most probably talk with someone from their office.

You can try to contact your local MP and explain your situation, it worked for my wife. You can also call them at 7:30 am and ask them to transfer your application with a proof of travel (so you need to have a ticket booked already).
