Background process changed to "in progress" for me too. May be a bug or they send all the "not started" profile files to CSIS for security checks before going for strike lol- Prabhs

Were you using the medical which you done for a previous application? If yes, I think it happens if your medical is expired (i.e., more than a year) and then they extend it due to the current status that previous medical is acceptable.- Prabhs
