Sorry to hear that. I do think you should appeal for it. If your foreign education, age etc. all match the work exp, the officer's suspicion is baseless. Besides, did you list this work exp when you applied for a study permit before coming to Canada? If yes, that is another reason to consider...

Thanks for the update. May I know which option did you go with? It seems that this kind of mistake, assuming you go with option 1 which is to admit the clerical mistake, is minor and won't lead to a rejection. Besides, how long time the procedural fairness letter gave?

Like 99% the other posts on this forum, the OP disappeared after receiving replies. No one knows whether the solution worked or not. I can never understand why ppl don't give updates when there is a final result of their problems.
