In a case similar to this (common amongst Indians), we just end up copy-pasting the "Given name" to both the "Given name" and "Surname" fields. That's what IRCC ended up doing for me during my PR application.

I think it would be a few weeks to maybe 2 months from this point. It varies from application to application to be honest. When did you apply?

I gave them a copy of the divorce certificate along with my citizenship application. No further questions were asked.

It seems to be going by FCFS for now with randomization within that. Guess you'll have to wait for the current backlog to be fully cleared and then they'd open the doors for everyone else to apply.
