What they told us at service Ontario was that we could bring the same AIP letter to renew our health card when it expires if we didn't get confirmation of PR before the expiry date.

Hi we went to the office at 6900 airport road. I remember someone was having that issue and they just told the security upon arriving that they have and appointment and they were able to enter the building. I hope the helps
