Hello, I applied for family sponsorship almost 11 months ago, sponsoring my wife and child, but we fell under secondary review for a sponsor. What happens if I apply for citizenship now, will they put it on hold as well because our sponsorship application is complicated? Thanks for your advice.

I don't think so as we are stuck with sponsor eligibility being referred for secondary review.

I received GCMS notes and got the secondary review for the Sponsor eligibility. Searched the forum and I'm not happy due to the uncertainty in the timeline now. There is no clarification provided as to why is secondary review required. Anyone in the same boat?

When I called IRCC last week, the agent told me that our file was still at CIO Sydney.

I was told that we might being stuck under a secondary review of the Sponsor which could take several months. Outland application was submitted on Oct 17, 2023, received AOR on Dec 6, 2023, and since then complete silence. Should we order GCMS notes to confirm this?

Anyone is still waiting for SA?
