Yes. Take original and photocopies from parents ( keep all docs, they are different suddenly they will ask something),Keep all documents they mentioned on the checklist.

Black ink is fine. I used normal black pen and fill the thumb with that ink and took multiple impression. I took best of it.

Don’t worry and all will be good. But make sure it is done soon. Voter id removal take usually 50 days roughly.

thing is they will ask randomly. BLS doesnt have any default process., 1 person will ask it is required. another one will day not required. BLS questions are nowadays pure luck :)

in india i heared if someone not voted more than 10 years, you name automatically removed from voter id. You can get in detail from your area election office, Each state dedicated office. You can ask any close frds there to check.
