Where did you apply from? And which Visa Office is processing your application?

As of January 29, 2025 the average processing time for applications from Germany is 287 days...Maybe you will get a decision earlier...

In my case, I'm not worried about the decision itself. I have a very strong profile. The problem with the Vienna office is that they just don't process anything...

Anybody can do a Privacy Act request. However, you applied on January 17 and the average processing time for Germany is 278 days. By the end of the year you should get your decision.

For Visitor Visas it starts almost immediately after application with Info Sharing... I'm still waiting for my CBSA and CSIS notes so maybe it was already completed maybe not. The tracker doesn't always show the actual status.

I'm waiting since July 22. Others are waiting since January...:) Also with a US visa.

I can go to the US at any time, this is not a problem for me. Given that there are people waiting in Austria from January 2024 for over a year without a decision and similarly no movement, I have a feeling that they haven't even touched my application at all.

My tickets are not refundable:( If the GCMS notes show that the security check hasn't even started yet I'm thinking of withdrawing in Austria and reapplying in New York where the processing time is much more sane.

@ebski Did you manage to get the visa? I applied in Vienna on July 22 and since then also no updates. Ordered my notes end of December and still waiting for them.
