reading this thread, so if the status is “received by cbsa” then it still hasn’t started technically? also waiting on csis notes since end of november. they’re saying the number of similar requests (asking for security screening) has increased and that’s why they’re taking longer

in the security section it will be pretty explicit if it’s comprehensive. once it’s started or at least sent for security screening, there’s “security screening type” and it will say comprehensive

hey, I got my gcms notes recently and in the officer notes it says: October 28 BF: 30 days Security Assessment: IN PROGRESS. - A34, A35, and A37 for PA: Pending review. but on October 30 they sent me to comprehensive check with CBSA does it mean my c-check only just started?

Did you get an update with background check like mine? Yeah, let’s update each other. I ordered my GCMS from both IRCC and CBSA just in case so I’ll let you know here when they come through. Probably will reach out to my MP once I get them too
