Just have the same discussion with your employer explaining your situation and the implications and I am sure they will find a middle ground to retain you until you get your eCOPR.

You will have to notify the province that issued your PNP of any change in your job role, compensation, location. Its up to the province if they still want to keep the nomination or withdraw it. The nomination was given for a specific job at a specific location at a specific compensation.

There might be a catch then which I am not aware of. I would trust a professional when it comes down to something like this.

I think a visitor visa for US as the name suggest should not cause a conflict about your willingness to live in Canada.

If the new job is really a good opportunity, maybe consult with an immigration consultant regarding your situation. They might tell you something different as I am speaking of whatever I have read on the internet.

You need to maintain all the conditions on your nomination including employer and job title. Even if you get a salary raise, you need to inform to Ontario ministry of labor that nominated you. After getting your eCOPR, you can change the job but still need to reside inside Ontario.

I am no expert but i think it shouldn't be that difficult to follow a queue and issue ecopr depending on the P1 date. I don't know why IRCC does it this way which is so random. Maybe to fill the quota for different streams?

From the whatsapp chat groups, it seems like the October backlog is getting cleared. Mostly people with P1 on 18 and 21 Oct are getting their eCOPRs. I hope our turn comes soon, lets keep each other posted.

The Ecopr should not be delayed because of this, Your PR card might be. They will ask for another photo if the original does not work.
