Congratulations! You might just make it to Canada whilst there is still some snow! Good luck with the next steps.

I’m not sure we could improve the letter we have already submitted. The agent notes in the GCMS read that the letter the letter is dated and on headed paper. They also note that each individual role description requirements meet the NOC we are claiming points for, and they do a little...

I’m sure you’re right. I have managed to calm down a little without calling someone at IRCC and subjecting the poor person who picks up the phone to a sustained barrage that casts doubt on their parents fidelity and/or moral predilections. The notes really are a dull read over 115 pages of...

That is a little silver lining in the cloud, however at the moment it feels like forgetting about a headache because someone has kicked you in the nuts!

Hi Cansha, Thanks for the above. Not only is the answer to all of the above yes, the analyst actually noted all of the above in his comments, and still required the review!

Hi all, Received GCMS notes today and review required is for my wife’s work experience. It’s pretty disappointing as it doesn’t say why the review is required, and actually states all aspects meet what we put into the application. It shouldn’t even be a hard one to verify - my wife was a...

Hi All, Interested in suggestions of what to do next. We received our GCMS notes and we have a review required for my wife’s employment records. It doesn’t say why the review is required, but the document is probably more complicated than some as there are 3 different roles on the same letter...

Apparently it’s not a public holiday in Quebec. I don’t know why, but I thought the customer services team was in Ottawa. Sorry to hear about the generic response but fair play for asking. They have broken my will!

Thanks that’s interesting to know. I must say that it surprises me. In terms of volume, IRCC seems to be largely maintaining its 80% rule, and it is certainly not admitting otherwise (in our case, if it was volume, I wish they would just f***ing say so as I could go away for a month and stop...

Hi, did you receive this today? It’s a public holiday in Ontario, so I am surprised they are responding!

Out of interest, and I hope you don’t mind me asking, what does your online profile state?

Same date as us! Same initial thoughts! I wonder what is causing so many of us UK applicants to go right up to and over the six month mark? We can’t all be incompetent when it comes to filling out the required info!

Thanks buddy. I’m not really sure how to take that news as the polite French guy I spoke to spent a good 20 minutes walking us through various scenarios and processes. If he simply lied to me, that is pretty dispiriting!
