My date of ack was Jan 4th and received confirmation on Jan 24th evening ET / 25th IST.....since your acknowledgement was on 11th, exactly a week later, assumed yours would also follow the pattern.......Passport should be ready for collection by Monday 6th Feb......or purolator delivery by 6th...

Went to BLS Brampton and collected mine along with the rest of the family members'......done with the ordeal....took 2 years and 3 months almost overall for the citizenship, ppt, surrender, oci etc.....Dealing with BLS was the interesting / fascinating part in the entire journey

You should expect the next update - published / dispatched / received etc by Feb 1st (maybe check tonight EST) or Feb 2nd. BLS should then be able to send it out by the next 3 to 4 days

My status has also been updated to indicate that the passport is ready for collection.

Around 3 weeks from today you will get the update on the OCI and probably a week after that you will get the OCI in hand....so approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

Mine changed as well, when I checked now.

For my family i saw the status on Monday 23rd Jan and yesterday evening I see the update as ready for collection. Till yesterday my application was shown as Processing in consulate General and now i see as Counter delivery to BLS Center after OCI stamping. I guess it takes 3 to 4 days now. Not...

How are you getting your OCI? Are you a foreign citizen (not a naturalized Canadian) applying for OCI because of an Indian origin spouse or Were you an Indian Citizen before and applying OCI? If later then your answer should be No.

I tried......not able to get through and get a correct response......they are saying status will change in 1 or 2 days ......and that was 2 days ago...

i did not avail purolator.....meaning i should go and collect it....but not sure if I should go and collect it since it doesnt show ready for collection.

am perplexed with the status update----for my family it shows Counter delivery after OCI stamping......for over 4 days now.....and i didnt choose purolator delivery....so am not sure if I should go and collect it in person as well....

What does BLS website tracking say in your case.

The details - previous passport number - refers to the Canadian Passport. If you do not have previous canadian passports (prior to the one on which you are applying the OCI with), you can leave it blank.
