    It seems it is the same in the GCC area. I applied from KSA on April 14th, 2022. Travel date was July 22nd (today). No update whatsoever.

    Finally, PPRs are being issued to KSA applicants, even though it seems the 2 or 3 I've read about so far all applied around Feb 2022 or earlier.

    Yes, this is what I've noticed too. Students here got study permits within 2 weeks. But hardly any April TRV applicant has received a PPR. (Applied from KSA in April 2022)

    I just checked the processing time for Saudi Arabia. It has increased dramatically. Highly depressing...

    No, I am still waiting. But two students I know received their study permits within 2 weeks of applying (they applied from Khobar). So clearly, IRCC is prioritizing study permits rather than TRVs.
