I thought there is an option of doing the medicals after submitting?

Hello everyone My mum applied for a super visa and submitted without having her medicals. She is yet to receive an email that will instruct her with a letter for the medical examination after 2weeks of submission. Should she still expect the email or there's another way. Please advise
