Yes, a month before I used to email/call them bi-weekly and they used to say/reply the same "It is in process"

Mostly it takes around a month but it depends if your application is complex then it can take more time. For me it took 4 months

Answering my own questions so that it can help anyone 1. PRTD Expiry is 6 months allows a single entry 2. Passport stamping takes approx three weeks

I got the passport request after 4 months of applying for PRTD I have below questions for anybody who has already got a passport stamped 1. What is the expiry of the PRTD visa and does it allows multiple entries? 2. How much time it takes for passport stamping? Thanks

I also mistakenly applied on H&C grounds and waiting now from June 23rd. Anyways when you say "we made a mistake on our file and went back to them couple of times to give explanation about our mistake" - How did you explain to them by webform or by emailing again all docs? Thanks

Thanks, checked all my Gmail folders not there I applied for PRTD because I received eCoPR while I was outside of Canada. I provided more than what documents were required. As I applied on H&C ground also provided medical records it might be because of that it is taking time.

Thanks, @legalfalcon for answering Just another silly question I have is as the PRTD application is taking months, what will happen if I travel with my TRV? The airline just check the visa and they (might)will allow but what will happen when I reach the Canadian airport? Thanks

It looks like as the VAC was closed in India they are delaying the approval of PRTD as to not swamp the VAC with stampings.
